Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ashley Cortez has always had a love of fashion. Since a very young age, fashion has always been the spark that lit the fire inside of her. Fashion was and will always be her one true love.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing from California State Long Beach, Ashley joined a prominent creative advertising agency, specializing in entertainment marketing for some of the biggest film studios and broadcast platforms. Through her work with The Refinery, Ashley was able to cut her teeth in the entertainment industry. By styling and coordinating numerous photoshoots on ad campaigns for some of the most well-known TV shows and films, Ashley was able to shape her eye for style and broaden her horizons.
She is always on the hunt for what is new and in style; not only in the U.S., but abroad as well. She has also styled numerous freelance photo shoots, independent web series, and several music videos.
With a keen focus on finding the next big name in the fashion industry, Ashley continues to search for brands and designers to feature and support in her work. She is determined to stay ahead of the curve and push the limit as she continues to develop her craft while staying true to her philosophy: making her clients feel confident while still supporting and showcasing brands from all over the world.
